Hey Jay,
Well I went to the Texas Road Rash on Sunday and did the 14 mile marathon!! Guess what??!! I came in 3rd Overall in the Female category!! It took me an hour to skate it and I know its not that fast but there were a lot of ladies all ages and I came in 3rd!!!! I didn't think I liked outdoor skating that much but I do now!! I can't wait for the next marathon I can go to! Joey Mantia was there and it was cool to see him skate. If you want to see the results just type in Texas Road Rash and click on results then on 2008.
I am so excited I had to tell everyone!! Thanks for all the practices we had inside skating the outdoor track!! It helped me out since this was my first ever marathon.
I will be in Michigan from May 23 - June 3, maybe I can come practice with you guys! Let me know if its ok.
